yeah, some days life just sends you crapola...and you get to shovel....other days you get a pat on the back (havent had too many of those of late).....just gotta enjoy the pats and deal with the shoveling!

nope, wont be able to play it (vertigo and video games- dont go well together) and hubby's computer wont be able to = not buying.

got lots left to do in the current game anyways, not to mention the RL stuff that seems to get in the way of my gaming time

Doubt I will get GW2 either. I picked up Diablo 3 and am loving it, so I just don't think I'm going to get GW2. Oh well.

Still just hot here, no rain yet.

Well the seniors are all graduated, attended a family friends 100th birthday celebration, then had dinner with my parents. Good day.

yeah had a really nice nap today, hubby was home too so it was nice to snuggle and not have to worry about having to be someplace or do something

but the a/c has been on just about all day

I really dont want to see my electric bill next month

....not supposed to get cooler for a few days....next weekend looks nice though-

O.o It rained. Of course it had to do it after I went home and washed my car... But I guess that is ok. We kinda need the rain and it is supposed to help cool the place down a bit the next couple days before getting hot again.

Huh, well it definitely rained last night. Oh well. I got the bird poop off the car so that was kind of the main point of washing it. And now that it is summer I have time to wash it!

Been up since 6:30. Went for a run then lifted some weights. Trying to get back in shape... That is my summer goal anyways.

when I was teaching....er, uhm...well in japan they really dont have a summer vacation

school starts in april and ends in march, though they do get from about the 20th of july thru august off for obon (mostly because its like 100+ out with 90% humidity and just too dang hot to be in an unventilated building with no a/c or heat!) So I spent most of that trying to stay cool, or I went on trips to see the castles and temples....man I miss being able to do stuff like that---from Nagoya I could get on a train and be just about any place in a few hours--tokyo was only 2 hours by shinkansen, kyoto an hour+....even hiroshima was only about 4 hours by train....oh well, it was fun while I was there!

(now I am hungry for some good japanese food!!!)

Ya I know right? A summer goal. What am I thinking? Meh. I want to get in better shape and I have the time to try too. Might as well make the effort.

Ick, unair conditioned buildings are awful when it is hot out. My grade schools were unair conditioned. It was miserable on some days. Of course the school I work at now is air conditioned. Bonus.

Same here cosy, have the windows open up and it is nice and cool. Still need to run to the post office at some point though. And for dinner? That I do not know yet... Maybe lasagna and garlic bread.

we did ok, until they mowed the lawn behind us (its a big big lawn)...and then the blowers....since my allergy to grass is pretty bad right now, had to close the doors

Darn right. The On-Cor stuff is pretty good though. Wasn't to bad.

No lawn to mow since I live in an apartment... Wish I had a lawn to mow sometimes though.
